First configuration

The first time you start the mod, a screen appears to download and install FFmpeg automatically before entering the main menu.

Setup Flow​

  • Preparing folders
  • Downloading
  • Extracting
  • Verifying
  • Done

If the process fails, you can use Retry or Continue without FFmpeg.

If you continue without FFmpeg, frame generation and live video mode are disabled until the installation is complete.

Initial adjustment within the mod​

  1. Open Mods -> Death Animations -> Config.
  2. Select your stocking at deathvideo/videos/ (.mp4 or .webm).
  3. Choose the mode you want to use to play.
